Last week on our contracts we did tricky vocab cross-words.Our teacher did this as a task because to make our vocab improve and better.It was quiet hard but when you put your mind into it it's really not that hard.What i have learnt from this is,"always changeling yourself!"
Last week we made butter and bread.Our class made butter and bread because of science and NZ history.We used a plastic bag and mixed and mixed it was quiet difficult but we made through our challenges.We put the bread in for 25 minutes it was delicious! then we made butter yum!.I really enjoyed this learning experience.
On Wednesday,last week we went to Te Ahu for a trip! we visited the museum.There we saw a lot of awesome history! The lady who looks after the museum gave us a piece of paper,and we had to find things on the piece of paper.Like we had to find a kiwi egg it was a pretty large egg.In our team we had to think of a team name! Our name was Te Ahu rocks! we didn't really know what our name would be...after a while we got to feel kauri gum! it felt smooth and to me it smelt like honey.Then we all sat down and the lady asked us some questions! the museum had awesome articles it was REALLY interesting! It was a fun day!!
In our class we have been doing travel brochures about far north.We had to add places to go,things to do,sight seeing,places to dine in.Also some far north history.The main purpose of doing travel brochures is to persuade people to come to far north! we folded A4 paper into three pieces,and then you can start your brochures.
